Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Great job someone

Last weekend there was a major event conducted in Delaware/SE Pennsylvania called the Savage Century. I don't know if this person is on Bike Forums, but someone did the 100 mile loop with 7500 feet of climbing on a fixed gear single speed with a single hand brake. Kudos!!! My knees hurt just thinking about it.
