Is the Fenix new? It's possible he just got it (they were on sale very recently) and is used to recording from an Edge (or his phone) and is forgetting to turn the Fenix off.

Strava has jumped the shark IMO and although I still use it to track my miles and see what friends are doing, I have stopped looking at segments entirely.

I’m using the first vacation time of the year the next couple of days. Woke up early enough to give me a decent ride but just wanted to relax for a bit.
Currently enjoying the (minimal) nice weather with a cup of coffee on the back porch. Then will help the 13 year old with his gaming PC build (the little guy has been saving for almost a year for it), and then time for some garage cleaning and woodworking.
