Addiction 2022.1

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Speaking of, I get to find out in "24-96 hours" my results.

Mild cough, sore throat, and sinus issues started yesterday afternoon. Didn't go to work today since I slept like crap last night.

Fun stuff.

So I think every excess death because someone who got vaxed and boosted couldn't get care when they needed it should be laid at the feet of the unvaxed. I cannot tell you how angry this all makes me. And masking? Yes, they should wear masks, because slowing down the wave makes it less likely the wave will swamp healthcare services.

And in any case, anti-vax and anti-mask people are all horrible, selfish s**theads who don't give a flying f*** about other people. T'hell wit' 'em.
If you want to see folks line up in droves for the vaccine, start denying hospital care for unvaxed Covid patients.

Nice view of Los Angeles last night, taken from the field where my daughter's softball team was practicing.

Isn't that in violation of the Hypochondriatic Oath...or something like that?

My pic is facing south among some lower-elevation foothills. The Mt. Wilson Observatory is north-east of where I was, on one of the taller mountains in the front range of the San Gabriel Mountain range. That pic is looking north(ish), away from the LA urban sprawl.

The FDA isn't contagious, but it sure allows the killing of our population. Their decisions influence much of our day to day life.

I had the same. It was 15º warmer than my last ride and my feet got cold. Both days were light wind and sunny but today, you could see the moisture in the air from the melting snow so I'm blaming the humidity factor.

Question. If for your career that you have worked your whole life for required you to go to a doctor every 6 months for a check up in order to keep your job, would you be as willing to put a vaccine that didn’t go through all of the normal trials in your body? If you fail a check up you could never do your job again?

Disclosure I was vaccinated, but only becuase I didn’t want it to interfere with my new job.
