Curious as to thoughts from people here, basically can go three ways with the aspero right now, one is grab a GRX 600 or 800 and upgrade over time. The other is to get a frame and pull all of my Di2 parts over for the R3, but that means max 30 cog and I would need to use a hybrid cable actuated disc. With the latter, I’d ultimately buy Di2 hydraulic shifters when the market calms down.
The third is to cannibalize most of the revolt and sell that frame, seatpost, stem and bars.
Honestly if the GRX 600 had a 48/31 crank, I would go that route but this 46/30 bologna and alloy seatpost and bars vs the 810 with carbon bars and seatpost seems like a dumb move for $700 cheaper

If you go frameset, no telling when you’ll get a Di2 drivetrain.

I’m leaning toward 810- I can basically sell the R3 for what it costs or close to. If not for cable disc brakes, I’d pull everything over and just sell the R3 frame.

At this point I wish I could. This should have been a 4 day weekend for me. I still have 5 hours of assembly time and I have to wait on my Tunner to find the time to come to the house. It's in Amazon's hands now.

I may have figured out how to not get dropped on a Zwift group ride.
My experience has been that the true pace is typically about 0.5w/Kg HIGHER than the advertised pace. That, plus the occasional signal drop, makes for a tough time to stay with the group.
For today’s ride, I wanted a Z2 recovery ride so picked one that was 0.5w/kg SLOWER than I wanted.
Perfection!

I spent a little time last night on the Litespeed. I harvested some shifter cable liner from an old piece of cable, released the cables, fed them through the liners, placed the liners under the BB in the cable troughs, and re-fixed them. I tweaked the tension and limit screws front and rear, and ON THE STAND it shifts okay. Today's ride will tell the tale.
And then, as soon as Wednesday, I'll strip the whole thing down and rebuild it with completely different kit. So why am I bothering?

There's also the fact that lighter riders on the flat need to put out more W/kg to achieve the same speed. I've found myself on the up side of this on some of the Zwift rides, where I'm putting out 2.1 W/kg but everyone around me is doing more like 2.2-2.5. And everyone else's avatar is skinnier than mine, so I conclude they're skinnier IRL, or at least told Zwift that.
Next to last ride, I benefitted from that until we hit a climb, where I had to put out a lot more to stay with them, so I was a lot worse off when we hit the top. IRL, everyone takes it easy on the downhills and my weight is a big advantage there. But on Zwift, if you dial back 'Trainer Difficulty', and you're lighter, you can keep close to the same powerup the hill and pretty much stay with a porker like me, then when I'm lowering power and recovering, you maintain that same power and ride away from me. And once they were gone and I had nobody to draft, I fell back rapidly - Tour de Zwift rides have Double Draft, so the difference between riding alone and riding in a pack is HUGE.
