Maybe, but unlikely. I have a hard time justifying the gas and mileage on my car when I am not sure what/if I will buy anything. I should be able to make it to the Chicago Winter Swap though.

I view it as a social event. Get caught up with folks I haven't seen for a while. Buying more crap is a secondary pleasure.

Do C &V parts move at this swap? Could be a good way to "settle all family business" in one day. Have a couple of frames, wheelsets, bars, etc. that are all a PITA to ship. Lots of BOC grade parts as well. Table price is probably a wash with what ebay fees would run.

I will be there for sure. In fact I will have a display as I recently bought out the contents of a bike shop and have lots of Park tools (repair stands, wheel stands, hand tools etc) and a ton of vintage parts to sell!

PSA Madison Bike Swap 1/15/22

The Brazen Dropouts Bike Swap is on for Saturday January 15th 2022...........who's in?

Last year was cancelled and the previous year had low attendance due to a snow storm. I am looking forward to this event.

Thank you for merging me. This is my favorite bike swap and I would anticipate a good turnout. Planning to bring 2 bikes 2 or more frames and few tubs of parts and accessories. Looking forward to catching up with a few bike people I haven't seen in a while.

If priced to sell, yes. Full "ebay retail", no.

Definitely going to be there - best social biking event because you never get dropped. Success selling bikes in the bike corral has been a pleasant surprise for me the past 2 events. While they haven't been any of my true C&V bikes, I got more or less what they were really worth with none of the online/packing/shipping hassle. They also now have a large indoor test ride area.

In case anyone is interested, I have three Park Professional Shop Repair Stands that I just listed for sale locally - if they don't sell before Bike Swap I will likely have them for sale there.

I'll be there, looking forward to the part where we watch @iab try to give away his give-away pile. I'll have some old and modern parts, a nice tubular wheelset, and this frame.

P.S. Between "the bug", the snowstorm blanketing eastern Iowa, and a host of smaller concerns, we decided to pull the plug again this year. Can't wait to try again next year!
