new kid ready for first BMX bike
I have a friend whose son is finally big enough to ride a 20" bike. I found a frame that is a bit heavy with steel rims and coaster brakes but also has entry level hand brakes. Schwinn Falcon is the model. I am thinking of setting up like some of the race bikes we made for the 1970's kids who had parents that would haul them around to various tracks for week end races. Most of the parts are on it, and I have located a set of blue compe tires with gum sidewalls like the kids used to ride. Now where to find pads and number plates for this bike. Smiles, MH

Got a nicer number plate cheap at bmxguru and they should have pads as well. Always fun when kids get into riding.
