Cycle NC Day 3

Cycle NC Day 3

Nice and dry 62 miles with 2600’ of climbing from Reidsville to Roxboro. My brother and I rode together for about half today’s ride. No rain until the tent was set up!!

The luggage truck had a flat tire so we’re waiting for it to show up.

I found the beer truck so it’s all good!

My brother behind me at the start

Me riding with a couple others

School kids painted pictures which were placed along the road about every 1/2 mile

Nice old house out in the country

This was a rest stop. Early 1800’s

My brother and me at today’s finish.

Missed your earlier posts. Had to go back to them and see what that ride about. You do a good, or at least decent job of getting picture evidence of your rides. So I'm envious of that.

Though I use to take pic's of everything when I was younger with a SLR, the digital age sort of took the fun out of it for me. Now I seldom bother to get shots even when I know I should.

You doing all seven days? Even just three would be a blast for me.

Yes on all 7 days. We will finish at N Topsail Beach on Saturday. We’ll camp there Saturday night then catch a bus back to Durham where my van is parked.

I could post and take a lot more pictures but I just want to give folks a flavor of the experience. Multi day rides with camping seem to be my niche.

No, you are posting about the right amount of pictures. Don't want to make this like showing off pictures of our grand kids and boring every one! <grin>
