Hey everyone!
So just wanted to introduce myself and see if I can't pick up some info and tech on fatbikes! And yes, I hate them! LOL...well...I did, until one day I woke up and just wanted one. So I tracked down a company, Surface604...reached out to them and became a dealer...I was a bit funny about a few things: e fat bike, customizable, and 27.5. They seemed to fit all of that...
In came a Boar Explorer and I already gave it the Death Projects treatment: Electron Death Project name, Wren fork, upgraded Shimano cassette, Tektro ED9 drivetrain, Tektro Dorado brake upgrade (4 piston), dropper post, carbon bar, custom The Death Projects carbon fat wheels and Terrene rubber! And the bike is sweet!!!
So tracked down you all to help with some 'stuff'...I build mountain bikes, so this is kinda the same, just some different sizing and such...I've already hooked up with quite a few 'fatbike' specific vendors...thanks in advance and keep in touch!
