Hello from the windy city

Hi all- new to the forum. Posting from Chicago’s Humboldt park area and getting ready to freeze on my bike this winter. Riding a rossin quadro and a motobecane beater for the winter. Wanted to post the rossin to see if anyone may have any info. Thanks in advance for your help!

Welcome Ironskillet. I hope it's not too cold out there already!

I too had a Motobecane beater for one of Chicago's winters, beat it to hell and then got a Raleigh Grand Prix beater. I hope you have fenders on it and LIGHTS, I see too many cyclist around town at night with either dim lights or no lights at all.

Me too! I’m definitely rocking bright lights even when it’s just dim out. I have front and rear cargo racks that act as good fenders. It sucks not being able to bring the nice bike out into the world. But that’s what beaters are for I guess.
