Custom Luggage

Hi all, not aware of a custom bag thread on this whole forum so here we go. Whether you made it or someone else made it for you, please show your bags made for your bike, one off, whatever.

I made my first bags recently. Still rough but a start.

I really winged the pattern so if anyone else wants to try I could draw what I did, might save you some work.
Also: Searching for the bag thread I found that Ultralight Evangelism has not been active for a couple of years. Sad.

Bikes: I tour on a Waterford Adventurecycle. It is a fabulous touring bike.

I had a customize frame bag made:

I wrote an article about the experience.

As you see from the above photo, I can tour using only front panniers, the frame bag, and a saddle bag. I don't camp, so there is no camping gear in my set-up. Note that frame bags act like sails when there is a side wind (i.e. on the Golden Gate Bridge), which can make handling the bike a bit tricky in strong winds.

Love that huge rando bag!

FWIW I wanted some basic panniers out of a specific color and all the "custom" bag makers I found were prohibitively expensive for a basic color change. Contacted Lone Peak even though they don't advertise doing custom bags. He charged me $15/bag for the custom color (cost of material).

I don't have anything I have made but I did get a Rando (formerly Ozette) bag from Swift Industries that I really love. I now know what I like about the bag and have been using a ton and want something custom but alas Swift couldn't do it as they are super busy. It wasn't huge changes but some changes for the specific rack it is on and a desire to use some Fidlock stuff and slightly larger front pocket and want some new patches as well which was something nice they did for me. I will have to post pictures as I don't think I have any good ones but this gets a minor idea of it:
