Help! Jagwire Cable Routing Tool Part Lost in Top Tube

Hi All,

I just bought my first frame that uses internal cable routing and a Jagwire Pro Internal Routing Tool. I screwed the little magnetic dealie onto the end of my brake cable, and stuck it in the first hole. I tried to catch it at the back end, and discovered that it had detached itself from the cable and was now sitting inside the top tube! I've tried to catch it with the extendable magnetic part—and it does stick, but I can't get the little sucker to emerge from the hole! I will continue to try but the hole is barely large enough to pass the thing.

Has this happened to anyone else and, if so, what did you do?

.
...I haven't used one of those, but in other instances where something small gets stuck inside a hollow space, I turn the piece with the hollow space so the hole is facing downward, and slide the tiny piece back and forth, until it eventually falls out of the hole (or gets stuck partly out of the hole) using gravity assist.

Thanks, 3alarmer, that worked.

I took off the wheels and saddle, and started shaking the frame around. The dingus ended up going into the down tube, and I was able to get it out through the opening where the derailleur cables come out near the bottom bracket.

Ah, the joys of internal cable routing.
