Addiction 2022.4

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I admit that tubeless has its place, but I am in no rush to drink the kool aid sealant.

Latex tubes in the summer wheels and butyl in the off-season wheels.

We have a Rivian plant in Normal, IL about 30 miles due east of us. I assume that’s why I see a lot of them on the road.

Also, I vote no on the lights.

The G Wagon is going electric.

As mentioned, OS, regular or Endurance, would be my choice.

The new stuff from Silca is supposed to be even better for large punctures... but it's so good that you can't inject it through the valve stem - it needs to be poured in before seating the tires and you add a replenisher every so often (which can be injected through the stem). I might try it when my current supply of OS runs out.

GO!
Depends on how frequently you get punctures and your mechanical aptitude. I suggest you go with solid tires.

Michelin has been working on an airless tire for cars. Maybe on day bikes. Perfect for crashpilot.
