First off let me express my deepest gratitude to ZeRinger and his work with the Panasonic Bike Museum. It was his videos that opened the doors for me...Thank you for your love towards those bikes! I owe you many beautiful moments I have had with my two stallions!
I have a feeling this may not be the last Panasonic for me, not until I build a Neo Retro Panasonic with a road classic steel frame and contemporary 105-Ultegra groupset.

Great looking PR-5000s you have there! In fact, I'd love to feature them on the web site if you're up for it. Shoot me a PM if you are interested and I'll send you details.

Let me throw in my new to me 1985 DX-3000. Just picked it up, and plan on cleaning it up and running it around the neighborhood. It still has the stock Selle Italia seat for goodness sakes! Smooth riding, and I have not used a friction shifting set up in decades. I had a 1988 Peugeot Versailles back in 1989 or 1990 and it was SIS. I plan on going back to stock with it, so toe clips and straps and white handlebar tape. And I really love the look of this crank. I know this was a midlevel Panasonic, but am excited.

Bikes: Wow, where to start? A collection of 1980's and early 90's road, touring, and MTBs from the likes of Trek, Schwinn, Cannondale, Fuji, Miyata, Univega, Panasonic, and GT. It has gotten rather out of control.

Just landed this Panasonic ATB! It was definitely worth the 3 hour round trip this evening. It looks like it was barely ridden and stored inside for a long time.

87 vs 81: Other than the fork and components how do your DX-4000' compare? I have and love my 81.

Spent the morning cleaning and tuning my old Panasonic. It's a 1985 Team Europe II with Campagnolo Victory. Now that I have changed the Regina freewheel to include a 24 it will be more conducive to the hill around my house. Thanks for looking!

I'm all for a new thread as long as everyone posts up new pics of their rigs.
I've been in "sell" mode and have unloaded 4 bikes in the last month.
Keeping this because I just love the colours and fit.
Might ditch the 9-speed Dura Ace for a 9-speed Record group that I have, I just prefer the cleaner cockpit

This is a National Super Road that I picked out of the scrap metal recycling here in Sweden. National was a Panasonic brand. Just needed a bit of a clean and some new tubular tyres and bar tape.

I posted my 86 DX5000. Does anyone know if 28mm tires will fit on this bike?
