Seeking recommendaions for a tricycle workstand
Hello. I'm stuck on an issue of working on tricycles. It seems that setting a work-stand for a bicycle is easy enough as well as getting a work-stand for recumbents, but I am absolutely stuck on getting a work-stand that would accommodate a tricycle similar to what's pictured below.
Any recommendations and ideas?

Yep. The Park shop stands work perfectly. I have one in my basement and it holds just about anything of substantial size. Also have worked on dozens and dozens of adult trikes at the bike shop using the Park shop stands. The lightweight portable stands will just barely hold such a monster and I don't recommend using one of any brand to do so.
Recumbents will also work in the Park shop stands, however I have never attempted to work on one using a portable stand.

The Cyclus work stand is easily sturdy enough and stable enough for a heavy tricycle:

Thanks for the recommendations. It is a portable stand that's required as I do need to fold it away for storage as here is limited storage in he container where the cycles are stored . Anyone this got any other suggestions and recommendations?
It's simply a stand to hold a tricycle what has the same or similar geometry and build like the one shown.
TiHabanero I assume you mean Park Tools? I already have one of those foldable stands. I was thinking of something that would better support a tricycle.

I use a pair of car axle stands (these ones: https://www.halfords.com/tools/garag...ds-657115.html) for the rear axle, pretty much any will do given the tricycle weighs so little compared to a car.
If I need more height then I tend to just put some boxes underneath.
I've used one of them to keep the front off the ground too, but never had any requirement to have all 3 wheels off the ground at once.

In my post I specifically noted that portable stands are not a good choice for the job at hand. They are not substantial enough to hold the size and weight of an adult trike. The Park (Park Tools) shop stand with the seriously heavy base, tower and head are the correct choice. Unfortunately I do not know of a portable stand that can handle it long term. I like the idea of jackstands as mentioned above, however I don't like the idea of needing to crouch to work on the thing.

TiHabanero Apologies for me misunderstanding. (My excuse will have to be that I've not slept well. )
Herzlos Thanks. Good point. Shall have a look at utilising similar axle stands.

Myron, no apology necessary, Because we are not face to face, communication is a bit more difficult and I get it. Its just a bike forum! You know if you can source jack stands (axle stands in another parlance) for trucks they will stand taller than passenger vehicle stands and might make working on the trike a bit better.
