GJ is higher, GT's are no slouch either. GJ is 531 with French, GT is Vitus with Japanese components, both are very nice.

The upright bars are on a Grand touring. Still an excellent bike. The fork isn't as nice but ive ridden gt bikes and diamond frame or mixte they are excellent.

Thanks for the clarification. I got a centurion Le Mans made in Japan with suntour components and really enjoy putting around on it. I like the look of mixte with the upright bar rather than the drop bar.

Hmm, that's interesting.... and not too, too far. Apparently Better was more of a touring bike builder- I wonder what the story is with this one. Had my eye out for something steel to build up as a 650b conversion for a riding pal who's skinny-tired aluminum bikes make me feel bad. Ugly color... and no eyelets.... but Reynolds, good parts..... hmmmm.

the pic of the follis looked like the seat stay had a dent. I asked the “seller” and he said yes unfortunately looks like someone clamped a rear rack too hard and “crimped” both seat stays
