Hardy, compact, reasonably priced tent

I've been really happy with my Coleman Hooligan 2. It's not exactly small but packs in one Front Roller, is really comfortable and not too expensive.

I cannot decipher this re: weight:
Weight(without floor mat) and Storage
2P:About 5.5lb (Orange)/ 4.4lb(Green);Φ18.9*7.5 in"
Is it saying the green model is lighter by “about” a full pound? (Don’t they know the actual weight?) If so, why? And note that the max height inside is only 35.4”. My Quarter Dome is 42”. Handier for someone 6’2”, like I am.

Also keep in mind that advertised weights can be different from actual weights. For mine, the difference is a full pound.

I should weigh my Big Agnes tent to see how it compares to the advertised weight, which is 4,1 pounds all in or 3,1 lbs "trail weight" whatever that means.
So my BA tent is a full pound off it's own weight depending on how you weigh it I guess.
lol

All my tents are heavier than advertised, but I added some extra robust stakes to all of them.

I have the Nemo Drongonfly. It is a great tent. It has held up very well during some strong storms. However, I think most of the newer ultralight tents are a little too lightwieght. Great for carrying on your bike or back but I doubt they will last as long as the old guard. I also have a Zpacks tarptent. The tarp is my go to for bikepacking or touring. So light and tiny. If properly setup it can handle serious storms
I still have my North Face VE25 and use it for car camping. I did recoat the bottom. I would never carry on my back again.
I think the ultra-light tents have allowed me to backpack again.

The number of choices is pretty amazing. There are so many levels of quality, weight and size, with price varying accordingly, and many companies to chose from for each configuration. Only the expedition-level domes seem to be disappearing. My first was the Jansport Mountain Dome that I backpacked with for decades after getting it in the '70s. It looks like the North Face VE25 is the last one left. I wouldn't want anything else to camp on top of a treeless mountain or any other high wind location. I wouldn't trust any of the tents I've been looking at to survive real wind, no matter how well it's guyed out. Most of the tents in the windy Iceland video seem to be staying alive, but I wouldn't be comfortable.

Not a lot of trees in the interior to tie your clothesline to.

Just sort of an FYI..it appears the Eureka Outlet site is back. I've purchased a couple tents from here..pretty good deals. The ones I received were like new. One had a small patch on the floor.
The stock changes as things sell off and new stuff comes in(dealer returns, floor models, and downright mfg seconds.....).
