Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I could've let my LBS route the cables internally, but it would've meant drilling into the frame. I didn't want that, at least for now. So the harness is external to the frame. It's not ideal -- there is a zip tie and clear mylar tape that could use some burnishing. Still, it's still relatively unobtrusive.

Take a look at the shimano tape kit for external routing. It may clean it up more.

At 5ft... 44cm frame 165mm cranks.. The seat is probably 3/4 inch up from that position now.. And look pedals come on and off again depending on how comfortable she is with clip less that day. Her first road bike.
weighs in at 16lbs.. Down from 19 at LBS.

Thanks.

It is. Masterpiece that I had on my prior bike, it's pretty light and it works. It triggers my OCD only slightly that it does not match the 3T stuff on the front.

If you want a matching Thomson stem in 110, I traded one in at Bicycle Pro Shop on Duke St, they probably still have it...

I'm a 120, but thanks. If it bugs me too much and a sale on stealth 3T posts comes along, I may swap it out.

Agree. I've seen DH MTBs with seats higher than that. Took me a few seconds to convince myself it wasn't a mtn. frame.
