HABO- need a VO decaleur in SF today!

I’m in SF, leaving on Touroica tomorrow. Went to put my handlebar bag on, missing bag side of decaleur! Called around to local LBS’s, none to be found. Anybody got one I can buy or rent?

Yikes! Can you make do with hemp twine and a couple of zip ties?

Luckily (for Mark), I have a broken shoulder so can't use my VO decaleur as I had been planning this week. My wife just rendezvoused with Mark to deliver the part.

How did you lose the bag side part of your decaleur?

@Spaghetti Legs Should chime in here about the last two credit card tours I did with him. Both of them we had pedals explode, yet kind bike forum members came to the rescue. So I figure we started out with good luck this time as well

For everyone else, Vito is my old Italian friend (well his parents emigrated, but he is very Italian) who delivered a set of rescue pedals out on the road so our last show could go on. Well done davester, but I’m sensing possible conspiracy here. davester , did gugie ask you many questions about your bike setup before your injury? Where was Gugie when you crashed? Makes perfect sense that he would want a rolling spare parts bin.

@davester, as Vito would say, don’t take it personal, it’s business.

I can attest gugie was not close to @davester when the incident happened. But gugie had plenty of time to check out davester's bike

Too bad I'm across the country, I have a spare. I keep picking them up when I buy front bags. Turns out I'm too much of a weight weenie to use them. Plus I like the Ortlieb hardware mod for quick detachment.

I might commission one from you then. I must admit that when it arrived in the mail I was a bit shocked by how heavy that sucker was.
