Temporary Cartridge Bearing - Banana

The outer cartridge bearing on drive side pedal came apart. It will be a few days before I can get a replacement.


Then I remembered a video I saw in 2013 about driving a truck from South Africa to Darfur. When they had about 100 miles to go, they resorted to stuffing bananas into the differential because they had no access to petroleum lube. So, I am giving it a try.

avocado works better. Just takes more effort to remove the seed.
