Kung Ten W5ER hub removal

I've service hubs before but this is a new one for me. It's a 1999 Trek 830 AL with a Kung Ten W5ER hub. There's a place for a cone wrench only on one side. How do I get this thing off?

It was clicking loud. Tried dribbling in some warmed up thicker oil. It helped but not enough.

Is there a 5mm hex socket inside the non drive side axle end? If there is, that's your ticket. If not, it might just pull off. Might take a pretty good grip.

No hex key option. So the end piece on the non drive side would pull off?

Possibly. Don't know that particular hub, but some cartridge bearing hubs have an end cap that just pulls off. Like I said, this often requires a firm grip and a good pull.

Looks more like a DT Swiss/Hügi rear to me.

Looks very much like it. I take it you pull the non drive side off this one to get the axle out?

I took the model off of the specs for the bike but this is it. Thanks!!! Found the manual online saying exactly how to disassemble!
