Kuat Sherpa 2.0 help
I’m a long time fan of the Kuat line, having owned the original Sherpa, and the Sherpa 2.0 (for several years now). I’ve always had rim brake bikes. Now that I have a disc brake road bike, I’m wondering how those of you with the Sherpa keep the hook of the rack from rubbing/marring the finish on the head tube? With rim brakes it was not an issue, but now the most secure location for the hook appears to be directly against the head tube. Advice?

You are doing it wrong. Lower the hook arm a bit more and then really jam it against the tire. It shouldn't touch the head tube, and it won't be as secure if it does.
I also bought some velcro straps to tie down the front wheel if I am feeling paranoid. I have gotten lazy and haven't bothered in the last year or so, but it can give you additional peace of mind.

It is actually a few mm closer to the fork than normal, but we were literally throwing bikes, dogs, etc into the car and fleeing. (This was evac #2, so it was a little more relaxed, but we didn't spend a lot of time optimizing the bikes.) Also, this rack got rear-ended, so the outer arm is a bit skewed.
