Jetblack WhisperDrive+ speed sensor issue?
Hi all,
I picked up a cheap Jetblack WhisperDrive+ trainer, which has the speed sensor already fitted. I've replaced the battery and on pedalling I've seen a green light flash a few times, then a red light and then nothing. I can't connect to it from either a Garmin Forerunner 45 (I assume via ANT) or an Android phone using the Jetblack App (using Bluetooth - the phone doesn't support ANT).
Does anyone know what I need to do to get the speed sensor to work, or what I else can I try ruling out?
I ideally want the speed sensor to connect to the Garmin so that I can log speed/distance data to Strava, but I'll fall back to using the Jetblack app to monitor data.
Thanks in advance.
Edit: It worked the next time I tried it (syncing with the Garmin via ANT), so I guess I just didn't give it long enough or get the watch close enough to the sensor before.
