Thanks! Still a bit fatigued today, and coughing a bit -- I imagine the cough will stay around a long time, since I'm a bit asthmatic. But I'm feeling much better than I was a couple days ago. Vaccines (x3) ftw!

Good to hear you're doing OK.

I would rest, anyway.

Take care. I had the same symptoms Nov to Dec 2020. Went to doctors. Stress test and chest X-ray. Doc: “You can smell and taste so we won’t prescribe a COVID test.” Then a couple of days after Xmas taking it easy in the garage riding. Did not feel well. Sat down and woke up on the floor. Went to doctor. Same same answer as before. Took about 9 months to shake it off. So take care. Watch your heart and blood oxygen.

I gotta say, after the two shots, and a booster, I’ve had a lot worse colds, no reason to fear the two lines.

have you ever tested yourself with a pulse ox meter? everyone in my family is always in the 90s except my Mom who is always in the mid-high 80s

I've had the same vax regimen, but I think there's still plenty of good reasons to fear Covid.

I have one of those finger ones. Mine resting was down to 92. It is back up to 97 and above. I used it on the bike (per an RN not supposed too with the finger type) and saw 86 but now stays over 90. So it is possible I has an issue. Yahoo right now 99.

As for fear I read about some athletes with heart and/or lung issues.

Please remember that it affects people differently; some have no symptoms, some end up on respirators. Count yourself lucky.

Luck has very little to do with it, more like genetics, your health situation, and whether you’ve had the vaccine or not. I probably should have phrased it better, but my point was, get the vaccine, and don’t worry, because we will all eventually be exposed. And yes, people have, and will continue to die from covid. I did not mean to make light of that.

Genetics and your health situation are basically things you cannot control, while whether you keep up with the vaccines is likely very much a matter of choice (not always, sometimes the other two factors preclude getting vaccines). I think people who have been vaccinated can get some pretty bad illness, but the odds are very low and the possibilities of death, hospitalization and/or major long term impairment largely eliminated if you've had the vaccines.

Basically, we're all agreeing that Koyote saved himself a lot of worry by getting the shots, and everything else is just nuance.

I'm glad your symptoms were so mild--even with the shots, that's not always the case, but the great thing about the shots is it stops it from becoming a catastrophe.

TBH, my allergies are generally so bad, I often wonder if I'd even have noticed it if I got it post-vaccine.
