Bought a second bike rack for my car. Scored it off eBay for about $50 shipped and it matched my other Volvo/Thule rack.

Good eye.
My family owns a Volvo dealership/shop so we have a small fleet of Volvo 240's that we give out as service loaners lol.

And before anyone asks, I don't live in the shop building with a chicken coop abutted to it.

Excellent purchase. Can't say enough praise for that little pump. Still lacking a proper pump at my new apartment, I just used mine to pump the fixed-gear up to proper pressure. Stores neatly next to my bottle on the road-bike, and it's tiny enough to go unnoticed.

Ordered some bullhorns, a brake lever, and a length of cable for my Wabi Classic. It's been out of the box for a week and I already want to start changing stuff around.

Yeah I was going to get black but then it struck me that I'm going to be using a shim and bar tape to wrap the entire thing... thus covering up all that black goodness aside from the edges...

I can understand why there's colored track drops; but seriously why did you get the black when you might end up wrapping them anyhow?

its not like hes going to take the ENTIRE bar all the way up to the stem. maybe he's going to be using some white/colored tape instead of black? maybe he's doing an all black build?

^^^ all my components are black, and i didn't want that little bit of silver peeking out between the stem and the tape. all things are better black... beans, metal, hearts.

Having seen these in real life and lusting for them afterward, these bars are really compact in my opinion, therefore there's very little reason not to wrap them up entirely considering the amount of bar area you are given...

Not eyes. Yea I understand. But seriously that $6 difference was totally yanking the common sense and reasoning part of me over reasons that I mentioned previously.

The question is now should I get black or silver??? Shiet!!!!!!! No seriously, serious hair pulling question over a $6 option which hopefully scrod can change to my order if he hasn't put them in the mail just yet. What a miser I am! Considering I already have a pair of black b123AA's... just for that combined millimeters of exposed clamp surface...
