Mid to lo end Rossin made with Oria GM and ML tubing similar to mid/lo end Columbus Aelle. The Ofmega and Modolo components are likely original, not Gilco tubing and no relation to a Ghibli frame other than constructed by the same builder, Rossin.

The
Columbus decal is added on fake/fraud!

Interesting. What year do you think? I haven’t seen Oria crimped steel.

i thought it was just a transitional frame built for a non-US market with Rossin approved Columbus.

that would explain the geometry and lack of R...would be interesting to see the catalog version. Probably missing theOfmega RD then. Probably a Rino or Selcof SP then.

Woah, what makes you say it's Oria tubing? Not challenging you, just curious to know. I really don't see why those Columbus stickers would have been added by the PO. As for the components I would tend to say the same as you but also I'd be reluctant to use them to identify the bike, since the owner did tell me the bike was assembled by his LBS back in the days.

Has distinctive seat stay end caps shape and raised lettering without the copyrighted Rossignol "R". Later end caps were more symmetrical, Rossin notoriously difficult to identify age, no serial numbers and they used what ever was on the shelf, long after they lost the infringement case with Rossignol. This bike has the down tube lug and the seat cap late "R" logo. My guess early 80's

These are all repainted Professionals with crimped tubing and Columbus decals, the frame posted above is not a Professional but has the crimped tubing and has been re-decaled, can't comment on the paint, I have been apart of lots of discussion on the Facebook Rossin page, including Mario's son William. Some say they are Columbus Matrix, however I have never seen a crimped Matrix bike except for these claimed Rossin's. Seen lots of Moser and Montager crimped Oria frames. https://www.facebook.com/groups/vint...48876635279762

The Montagner (?) bike you've posted has a different crimp pattern than my Rossin. Not as "pronounced". Could it not be a less high-end Columbus tubing, like Matrix? Weren't some other Rossin bikes made with crimped columbus steel? Like the professional?

Just mesured the seatpost and it's an odd 27mm. If that can give us a clue for the tubing.

Does anyone else think of Don Quijote's horse when they see a Rossin?
