Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

At that price, I went for it. Even if, at the end of the day, it's a prop for a shoot or something for a costume, it's cool. They are pretty bad ass! But, yeah, I do hope it fits!

Good point. I thought I had one already which is why I did not buy one. I am still convinced I have some somewhere. If not, that will be next purchase.

I never got too excited about how a stem looked but when I got this in the mail, I must say it is nice. Not the graphics but the shape of it.

Just got one of these. Nice jersey, and I still can't believe I'm now fitting into medium race cut jerseys. Two years ago I was wearing double xl's in race cut. Cycling does the heart, and body good!! Oh, and as you can see from the avatar, it matches the bike.

I've had 4 in the last 3 years and they have all being 10-20% off on their weight. Obviously, always on the heavier side. That has been the experience of most on weight weenies too.

Tubes. A month ago I purchased two tubes from the big-box sporting goods store and had two flats on my first two rides. I went and bought Specialized tubes from the LBS store and haven't had a problem with them. Yet.

Bmc slt01

It wasn't so much a purchase as it was a (somewhat) surprise 10th Anniversary gift from my partner:

I'm a very lucky guy and it's an awesome bike...can't wait to get it out on the road.
