Considering CAAD 10 second hand.

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I paid that much for my CAAD10 new in 2013. Though mine is 2x10, and was a previous year model.

It’s a very good bike, and prices now aren’t what they were, but it sounds steep to me.

This ^^^^

That sounds crazy expensive for a old bike but "prices now aren’t what they were"

maybe you should ask in classic-vintage

My Cannondale dealer thinks very highly of the CAD 10. I have a CAAD 12 that I bought in 2019 for $1350. Shimano 105 11 sp w/Mavic Aksiums. It's a great bike. If I were to sell mine today I'd expect to get $1,000.

If it fits you well, you like the color, and the components are in good mechanical and cosmetic condition then I would think the best way to approach this is look at what else is available at that price and compare.
If you cant find anything else with 2x11 in your size with a carbon fork and good component condition at this price then it may be a well priced bike for your area.
The other approach is to look at what it would cost to buy and build up a frame with the components, even used. Right now, I can tell you that in the US it would get close to that asking price for sure.
