Crickets chirping?

I figured if the Peugeot guys and the Schwinn guys and the Raleigh guys and even the cross bike guys can do it then I can get in on the action . 'Sides, I just like Bottecchia's. Maybe one day I'll gather it all up and create a vintage Bottecchia website like all those other brands have. I'll start...he are the latest pictures of my baby:

To get the ball rolling, you could always move some pictures over from the Bottechia Equipe thread. Just give credit to the owner.

This may be sacriligious to some of you guys, but here is my Bottechia fixed gear;

This bike was treated very poorly by previous owner(s). Everything on it was garbage and its gotten a new life as my fixed beater.

I could start a "show us your Sekai's" thread but that would go nowhere ...

PS - nice Bottecchia's!

OK, T-Mar had a great idea. I'll copy these pics over from the other threads we recently had -

Mike01 in Sweden owns this beautiful example - (one day T-Mar is going to decide to sell me his Bottecchia frame so I can build one just like it but with a white saddle and silver stem.) ;-)

And these two belong to Mike01's friend:

And here's a frame Moki posted (that's too small for me ) and a Bott from the Wool Jersey gallery:

And a link to Ray Dobbins site with his exquisite pictures of the '92 Equipe shown below:

And there's Fredrick Yavorsky's very clean 1973 Special Model from the Classic Rendezvous site:

https://www.classicrendezvous.com/Italy/Bottechia_F-Yavorsky.htm

This is very similar to my old Special with a few exceptions - I had Fiamme Yellow label clincher rims,
Tipo hubs, Simplex Prestige derailluers, and an unusual Ofmega 5-arm steel cottered crank with aluminum chainrings.

And a few other Bott pics I pulled down off eBay...

A 1961 50th aniversary frame:

A Professional Model - needs a little TLC - this one was asking $750 when it was up
for auction but didn't sell at that time. Probably can't see it in this picture but it has
Nuovo Record brakes:

A nice tourquoise Special - interesting Belt saddle:

A sharp red Special with Simplex derailleurs (clearly in need of adjustment) like mine had:

A bright yellow Unisex:

The only evidence I've ever found that the Gran Turismo actually existed - I believe this was later bought by someone on these forums:

Ok, here is the Picture from Brian's Basement of my Deluxe.

It might be back among the living by the end of the weekend.

Back in the mid-90's I wanted to buy a Bottecchia frame to build up a bike. I don't know if they were still being imported or if they were NOS already then but an SL frame went for $400 and an SLX went for $700 if I recall correctly. Of course I didn't have $700 back then or even $400. I should have sold my soul to the devil or something. That frame in ADR team colors is simply exquisite.

I need to read Faust again to see how it's done

Here's an interesting detail - I have many pictures of Bottecchia Giro d'Italia and Professional frames but this one on eBay right now is the only one I've ever seen with cut out lugs. Check this out:

Another Equipe, this one from the early 1990s and built up with Superbe Pro, just to be different then all those C-Record Equipes. Note that the seat lug has been painted, as opposed to the more common chrome finish.
