Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Cannondale SuperX GRX

Does anyone have experience with this bike?
https://www.cannondale.com/en-us/bik...erx/superx-grx

I found one in my size at a nearby LBS and will likely purchase, but with COVID-19 restrictions I won't be able to see it until I'm ready to buy, so I'm trying to figure out exactly what components it has and the Cannondale website isn't super helpful.

The rear derailleur is listed as "Shimano Ultegra RX" in the specs, but the photos show what looks like a GRX RD-RX810 rear derailleur. Similarly the shifters are listed as "Shimano GRX600 hydro disc" in the specs, but they also list brake levers as "Shimano 105" (the photos look like GRX600). The brakes are just listed as "Shimano Hydro Disc 160mm rotors" and I can't tell from photos if they're GRX or 105.

Can anyone confirm the exact specs? Also wondering what the differences are between GRX600 and GRX800 shifters (and 105, if that is actually what it comes with).

Any other thoughts on this bike are welcome. I'm going to use it for a mix of solo road/gravel riding, and fall CX racing. I have an older CAADX that I like, so I'm hoping this new bike fits similarly. I haven't owned a Shimano drivetrain in a long time, so it will be an adjustment as I'm used to SRAM 1x.

Thanks!

Those are for sure grx shifters which is good thing. It's basically a mishmash of stuff. There's not much difference between the RX Rd and grx one if it at all.

Grx 800 is Ultegra level and 600 105. The 800 are lighter shifters and feel a little better but that's it. Grx shifters as a whole feel comfier than 105 and Ultegra ones.
