Guerciotti?

Guerciotti?
Been looking for a vintage steel road bike. May be looking at an RB1 this weekend but just stumbled over this Guerciotti . I know nothing about them and google images has failed me trying to ID it. Anyone know what it is? Good? Owner is bike illiterate and just says all Shimano parts. Looks pristine and its $300 down from 800.......

Honestly.. A shimano 105 equipped bicycle for 300 is a great value. I have a Guerciotti. Even the low end ones were pretty decent. You'll enjoy it I think. If the wheels are straight and it doesnt need any major parts its a great deal

Looks like a Tre-Tubi frame with 105. $300 is a pretty good deal. It's one of their lower end frames, but it's still a great frame. My Tre-Tubi Faggin frame was a great riding bike. I'd snatch it up in a second if it fits.

The components appear to be 1987-1989 Shimano New 105, with replacement pedals. The Columbus decal is the pre-1988 version, so it should be 1987 or possibly 1988 if the factory had some leftover decal stock. The decal itself appers to be gold with a some witing writing along the bottom. Given the Guerciotti models imported by Ten Speed Drive at the time, my leading candiate would be a 1987 Guerciotti Strada 105 with Columbus Tretubi Aelle, which I would classify as very low mid-range for the era. Assuming I'm correct with the identification, it's an OK deal but not great. Original MSRP would have been ~ $500 US. From the 1987 TSD catalogue...

Appreciate all the input- you all rock. Unfortunately seller went dark .....after I mentally committed to getting it. Hoping she pops back up. If not there is a nice Cilo with a red white blue paint scheme and Tange 1 tubes for sale near me to fill the void lol.

It's Victory, which is why the ad title is "Strada Victory". The "component packages" are only other suggestions. TSD offered build kits with every Campagnolo and Shimano group. If you wanted to, you could have ordered the Strada frameset with C-Record or Dura-Ace but extremely few, if any, people would put those groups on a tretubi Aelle frame. Victory was probably the most popular component onfiguration given the frame's tubeset and Italian heritage.
