rideandgoseek , how does the sole stiffness of this generation of Dettos compare with typical clipless shoe soles? Just curious. The only Dettos I've owned were from around 1978, with leather soles. I think there may have been a thin metal shank partway through the midsole, presumably to protect the rider's feet from the tacks used to secure the cleats.
