WTB/looking for nice 58 cm frame set

Hi, with the demise of my Miyata, I am looking for a nice lugged steel 1 in steerer frame/fork in 58cm range (can probably do a range of 56 to 59)

Focus is on road riding, don't need huge tire clearance

126/130 rear dropouts, thinking late late 80's to 90's but not too hung up on year....do want to avoid french threading

Thinking bikes like RB-1, Team miyata, De Rosa, Merckx, etc as examples so more top of the line or close to it, but am pretty open when it comes to brand, looking for a nice ride mostly

Bright colors a bonus

I have put some feelers out to people who historically have had some frames around

thanks all

Rats, I recently sold that Univega Gran Premio 58cm, and i would have happily given you a deal on it. It was a dowdy grey, though, so it wouldn't have ticked every box...

If you're interested, I have an '84 Nashbar (Maruishi) frame and fork with SunTour Pro dropouts. Don't remember the size but definitely too big for me. Shoot me a PM with your email and I can send you some pics. And since you're local you can come pick it up. lol

I have a 57 cm Ciöcc that is cosmetically challenged but it is a sweet ride and the chrome (lots of it!) is in good shape.

Canopus

If you are interested, send me a PM and we can discuss price. I am willing to throw in a bunch of bits and pieces to go with it.

I may be selling a 1989 Serotta Colorado frame/fork but it does not have bright colors. It's blue. Considering the other frames you are looking for it would be in your price range. 130 rear spacing.

Thanks all I just pulled the trigger on frame. At this point all I am saying it is fast (has to be it is red) probably faster than me.

I will do an unveil when it is built....which will be a whole different set of questions

I can say there are some interesting 58's out there and BF C&V is the best

I have a pretty minty 56cm Cinelli, Circa around 2000 or so. China Blue. Fully built up with Campagnolo 10-speed, mix of Record on down. Won't be cheap, but it will put you in the big leagues. :-) Also, I think you're more or less local to me so you can try before you buy.

Edit: oops, sorry. I see you already found one. :-)
