If you're ok with making the Brooks commitment, https://www.smartbikeparts.com has some of THE best Brooks prices on the net. Eric is da MAN in charge, so just shoot him an email and report back. I love mine.

Hope I'm not too late. Got one at Wallingford. Great folks. Tony at IRO Cycles may still have a great deal. I got the B17 with the skivved sides and the large, hand-set copper rivets for $60 there. Best price anywhere. You might try him. He's pretty much a fixie single-speed guy, but he's one of the best in the business.

just went to the Wallingford website, and if I'm not mistaken, they were asking $82 for the regular B17, and $106 for the Champion Special. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Brooks Champion Flyer Special here!

Support your LBS or at least Wallingford Bikes if nothing is local or you don't like them.

E-bay last 4 Brook saddles - seems the best deals by 20 buck usually and more if slightly used

Most people tend to go with Wallingford, and it was this that caused me to order some stuff from them as well, namely tubus racks and ortlieb panniers. Communication was great and was very happy with the panniers. But the second time round when I went to order the racks I received no communication back to a question about racks being out of stock, a month later I finally got a reply to say the dude who I emailed had been fired cos he was so slack, and that they actually had them in stock for quite some time but the web site had not been updated. The lady who replied was sincere in her apology, so I went ahead and ordered them, but then I didnt hear anything back for another month when I emailed to get a quote for shipping overseas !

So finaly about 2 and a half months later I got the racks, am very happy with them, but it was a little bit hit and miss for me from wallingford.

Just last month, I looked around on the web & found what I wanted. Then ordered the Brooks Champion Flyer, honey color, spanner wrench + proofhide. Being that this will more than likely be the last saddle I buy, I gladly paid my favorite bike shop $125.

i know you asked about Brooks, but for the last 2 month I have been using a Selle Anatomica saddle touring around Chile and Argentina. It is similar to Brooks, but I think with an improvement. It has been serving me very well. More expensive though...
