Has anyone tried these? ( https://fatladattheback.com/en-us/co...ing-bib-shorts ). I think they are cool and kind of humorous but I also wonder if they bring about undesirable attention.

I haven't tried these. I don't think that they will bring negative attention. But they really don't talk about the chamios except that it is a high density gel pad. That's not enough information to get me to buy them.

Looks like an alright investment. Bibs used to cost even more. So much more I just sewed satin suspenders onto my padded bike shorts to keep them up over my spare tire. I was able to get three good quality bike shorts for the cost of one set of bibs. Of course that was 70 pounds ago...
I also wear Soccer shirts for my tops. Having a nice tight fitting Jersey was just too much exposure for me...

Haven't tried the bibs, but their jerseys are top-notch for larger folks like me. I actually bought one that was too big! That has never happened before, and I knew it might be large-ish, but it was their now-discontinued Scotland flag jersey and I wanted to get one that matched my daughter's.
