Moving indoors
Well my oldest moved out. Finally her security clearance was approved and she has moved on to her real job. And now i can begin to move into her old room. I was thinking of using some of those foam interlocking tiles to add some compliance to the trainer and wondering if anyone here has done it and if so how you like it? trainer is a Kicker. by tiles i mean somethign like these:

I’ve 4 layers of the harbor freight equivalent tiles under my Wahoo Kickr Bike.
Poor man’s rocker board.
I like it a lot. Defiantly took some of the stiffness out of my ride.
I can’t comment on longevity, but I can move them around and add layers when needed.

thanks. didn't even think about stacking layers.
today i moved everything in and rode. couldn't place the fan properly so relied on the ceiling fan. 18.5 miles, 350ish feet and one of the hardest rides iv'e done. it was so hot. i have a bit of tweaking to do.

I have a pedestal fan right next to my bike. I'm not sure how much you really need to have a fan blowing on your lower body. Of course, I ride in the basement, so it's cool most of the year

Indoor Fans
I use a Wahoo Headwind when I'm on the trainer ~$300 (but does have some nice features I enjoy)
and
A Costco purchased high velocity fan when I ride rollers. ~$65
A ceiling fan just won't do if you're working hard.

I created so much humidity in the house the dear wife kicked me out to the wood shed where I can create lakes of sweat. Be sure to cover your bike while riding, sweat is highly corrosive. Enjoy.

still tweaking. bike was way too close to the tv, moved bike back. couldn't even see it in focus with or without glasses. fan propped up on desk hitting me directly. ceiling fan on, window open. much more demanding ride yesterday but so much easier because i was not melting. if i have to make it a regular thing in the summer i'll probably reconsider. shouild be ok wiht all the rain we have had.
