I'm planning on doing some riding this weekend. I can't wait to get some time on the road. I even decided to order the upgraded headlight, since 500 lumens is doable in a pinch, vs the crappy 100 lumens of the current light. Combined with my battery powered bike light I'm good to go.

I am returning the upgraded display though, as it's basically useless. I'll get an Eggrider or something similar eventually, but their "upgrade" is anything but. I can't even use my own bike light with it on, because it takes up so much space. It's a glorified speedometer, and nothing more IMO. I can, supposedly, increase the speed to 25mph with it, but when I boosted it in the settings to 40kph it did nothing. A waste of $$$. Back it goes.

I had to remove the led light from the handlebars, since it wouldn't let me tighten the handlebars down correctly. 25 mile bike ride in tonight, with 2 of 5 bars used. Solid bike. It's like a single speed on steroids. I rode mostly on level 2 of 4.

The Radmission battery is currently on sale for $200. It was originally $449, but due to the discontinuation of the bike they're selling it at more than half off. It's definitely going to come in handy once spring/summer kicks in.

That's a great grab! I'm bummed that they are not compatible with the other models. I'm happy with the Rovers but man I shouldn't have hesitated on the mission deal.

The funny thing is the other dolphin battery they sell is (unofficially) compatible with the Radmission. But, for this price, I can lose a little range.

Just a heads up, Rad Just launched a memorial day special on the Rover for $1399, a hundred over what I paid but still a lot of bike for the money.

For what I paid for my Radmission, coupled with the fact of how little time I have to ride, means this isn't something I'd personally go with. If anything, I'm considering a folder customized with a mid drive motor. That's the ONLY OTHER ebike I'd even consider at this stage of my life. LoL! I see a folding ebike tour in my future.

I jumped on my Dahon for giggles last week to meet someone at the office, it's been years now since I've commuted so my folders are gathering dust, I have to say it was so twitchy compared to the Rad I nearly spilled on the driveway like a rookie! I agree if I was commuting an electric folder would be the best of both worlds.
