I too, own the same model, in the same color scheme. I bought it an economically challenging period for me, and even at it's modest price ($550USD), it was hard to pull the trigger. It served and still serves me well. Made a 9 speed upgrade to better components, but the frame is solid and light. A little stiff, if I'm being honest.

I got mine off CL. I think it might have been $400. Probably 2008-2010 or so. I could maybe try to do some BikeForums forensics to nail down the exact date, but I don't remember ever posting about it. It was my first road bike. Before that I had a mtb and when I put street tires on it, it came alive and that's what launched me into cycling.

May have been set that way for storage. The wacky part, as is most of the post here, is that the seller doesn't correct it before posting a picture.

I have many a time loosened a threadless headset so I could rotate bars for easy storage, seems like if he wanted to do that he wouldn't have gone to the trouble to remove and reinstall the bars backwards on the stem

I suspect he removed the faceplate from the stem to free the bars, then reinstalled them after turning the front wheel around.

"82 Raleigh USA Supercourse Technium"... for the low price of $3,000! I thought I'd help the seller out and let him know that is actually from 1991 back when he listed it, but you know how people are when they "know what they got."

I don't think there's anything per se about this add that puts me off, but, holy cow!, I've never seen a frame that big:

I ordered 9 products on the new shopping website. When I buy a product, the price of the product is very low. I have used it for 16 days. There is no problem with the product. I studied all products. All products are new products with an invoice warranty card, so I am willing to help them promote their websites, This is their website👉👉👉👉 www.aqq-shopyys.top Their delivery speed is very fast. On the 5th day, I received all the products. If your family also needs this product, I strongly recommend that you buy it from this shopping center. I believe you will be as excited as me. This shopping center helped me solve many problems of my family👍👍👍👍👍
