Poseidon X Smart Trainer
Has anyone been able to use a Poseidon Dropbar X bike with a Smart Trainer?
Currently I been using a manual resistance trainer(Tire on) with the bike which I got a friend. I am planning to upgrade to a smart trainer (either Wahoo or Kinetic) to use better with Zwift and finding out that the Tire On option may not work due to the axle connectors on the sides.
Here is the link for installing the back wheel -
- at 3:40 is when you can see the back tire connector.
I am hoping I am wrong, if not can anyone recommend a way to make it work?

I don't know anything about Kinetic trainers, but the Wahoo Kickr ships with:
- Drive Side Adapter for 130mm and 135mm Quick Release
- Reversible hub spacer for 130mm and 135mm Quick Release
- Drive Side Adapter for 12x142 and 12x148 Thru Axle
- Reversible hub spacer for Thru Axle
- Quick Release Skewer

Thanks for the info! I was trying to comparing the pictures and videos from the wahoo connectors to my bike connectors and they looked different to me. I am blaming my poor eye sight. lol.

Your bike is a bit unusual in that it has disc brakes, but uses an older style 135mm hub spacing with quick-release skewers. This setup is common for rim brake road bikes. Most disc brake bikes have thru-axles and a wider hub spacing (142mm).
Regardless, most current smart trainers come with adapters that allow either style to be used. You should be fine.
