Paketa Frame for Sale?
Hi All. Found a hairline crack on the left seat stay of our beloved Paketa. I’m looking for someone who can repair it. If it can’t be repaired then we’ll be looking for a frame to replace it. We’ll be looking for a disc brake ready frame with a captain’s effective top tube in the 54-55 cm range. Anyone have a frame they might be interested in selling?

I wonder if someone could wrap the seat stays with carbon?

My wife suggested the carbon wrap approach as well. Unfortunately the crack is high enough up on the seat stay that even a few layers of carbon would encroach on the tire clearance. These frames were designed for a max 25mm tire.
