Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I already switched the wheels for the Fulcrum 4's I got for the Ritchey. I am ambivalent about the crankset, though. I LOVE the look of the 7410 Dura Ace crank. I have one on the Ritchey as well, and switching to a 7700 small ring makes it work perfectly with 10 speeds (the chain sometimes hung up in No Man's Land with a 10 speed chain and 8 speed rings), but I don't know if that will still work for 11 speeds.

Is that thing where people say they can detect weather changes in their bad joints true, or is it a myth?

Right, so when you try to screw the TA back in, you need to push on the drive side dropout till the TA threads into it?

Risky riding that close to Canada, isn’t it?

I can… but I had soft tissue repair and am mildly arthritic. Snow and rain make it hurt the day before generally

correct, but it’s more like press both sides as hard as I can while my wife screws the TA in. That’s not normal.

Broken hip people did ok today. The national crit champion beat me, but I did beat a world champion for second. Actually finished third in the field as we were racing with the 40 year old whippersnappers

That would make fixing a flat by yourself a pain.
