Your Ride Reports - November 2022

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Your Ride Reports - November 2022

If you are new to posting on this thread, or if you are new to cycling, we welcome you! If you are returning from a previous thread, we welcome you, too.

This thread is for anyone who rides a bicycle ... or unicycle, tricycle, tandem, etc.

Are you an experienced road cyclist? Do you bike to work? Do you pull your children to the park? Do you ride weekends? Do you spin at home or in the gym? Is Zwift your thing? Do you race crits, ironman, or centuries? Touring? Audax/Randonneuring?
Or are you just starting out and remembering how much fun you had biking when you were a kid?

There are no set challenges - this is a mixed-ability / mixed-experience / everyone welcome group.

Just pick the target that you would like to achieve this month and post updates throughout the month as you work toward your target. We love seeing photos of your rides and hearing all about them.

Share your accomplishments with us.

Rowan and I have done 50+ km rides each month of the past 2 years! In fact, in the past 2 years, we've done 25 rides of 50 km or more.
And in that collection of rides, we've also done a ride of 62 km, a ride of 64 km, and a ride of 73 km.

This was the ride that finished up 2 years with 50+ km rides each month.

As some of you may know, Rowan had a serious workplace accident which resulted in a severe brain injury and has significantly limited our long distance cycling. So this accomplishment is something special for us.

On November 2, I had 3 skin biopsies, in three different places. So my cycling is a bit reduced at the moment.

I am really glad to read this. IDK why but as I was lying in bed for my middle of the night, think about totally rando stuff until going back to sleep, y'all came to mind. Good things happening, nice.
