Not really, the first 10 miles felt weird as I've been riding my Colnago on the road and my Propel on the trainer. After 10-12miles, it started feeing better but I just told my wife that I have some strange aches and twinges in my legs. I can see that I'm going to have to get used to it all over again.

I went out solo again and I took the mtb. Didn't get rained on this time. I took a couple pics.
There is a facility where they dump sediment from storm drains and catch basins and I can get to the hills through there. Not today, though. There is a cloud sitting on the 4000 foot hill.

I took the streets over to the dam. It's a couple miles across and today there were lots of people out enjoying the day.

There are trails and dirt roads in front of the dam but the rain has made some of them inaccessible. Probably won't ride that one for a while.
Mount Lukens is in the clouds in the distance.

Looking back at the dam from the east end. I'm standing on a 30+ foot cliff which was carved by water a long time ago.

On the way home I went through some residential streets and stopped at a construction site where they are building an equestrian staging area/park. I played sand lot baseball here when I was a ute. The closest housing tract was at least a half mile away then.

Did some Zwifting after my bout with a bug. First time being active since Thursday. Did a 8.7mi ride with 800ish feet of climbing. That was stupid. God I hate climbing. I should move back to Florida, but then I’d have to deal with Floridians…

Update I just checked with my friend about Indy, she did not hear from him. I told her we are concerned, she said she would look into finding a way to check on him.

Fingers crossed all is ok, but it’s not like him to go dark for 2 weeks like this.

I decided to try and sneak in a ride before the next storm arrived. The plan was to get out early and get the ride done before noon. Then I stayed up late watching "Once Upon A Time In The West", and didn't get to bed till 1 AM. So, I was just getting UP at 8 AM, not getting OUT. Finally rolled out at 10. The pavement was wet everywhere, and the same puddles that were there last week are still there. Or there again, since it rained hard overnight. 4 1/2 miles into the ride, I flatted. A piece of glass had worked its way all the way through the tread and was lying on the inside of the tire when I pulled out the tube. Then I had a bit of an issue with the hose on the Lezyne minipump, and had to swap valve cores from the old tube to the spare. After that, pumping up the tire was merely tedious. I kept on because I'd packed TWO spare tubes. I added a few psi later, and had no further tire-related problems the rest of the ride.

I got to Woodside, about 18 miles in, without encountering any rain. Then is started raining. A light, drizzly rain at first, which became heavier. The rest of the ride - another 18 miles - it rained, anywhere from a that light drizzle to big drops that stung a little when they hit my face. I don't know if my jacket kept me DRY, but it kept me WARM. Same for the AmFib tights. OTOH, my feet got soaked, and I could feel water squelching around in my shoes during the heaviest rain. I have booties, but didn't wear than since it's 50 degrees out. Now I'm thinking I need them to keep my feet warm. Overall, it was more fun than I thought it would be, even when it was raining hard, I think a lot of that was not being cold. 50 degrees and wet I can handle. Not sure I could manage 45.

The weird thing is, I didn't feel like I was going at all fast, what with the rain, and having to work against the tights and all, but I got a couple PRs and other palmares, all on roads I ride a lot.
