Of course! We don’t know the condition, size suitability or the components so all that leaves as a determining factor is color. I would go with whatever has some neon.

The Cannondale without a doubt. Now for the reasons. I would never buy a carbon bike that is over five years old let alone 14-25 years old. You just don't know how well it was taken care off. That leaves the two aluminum bikes. The Specialized Allez is a great bike but it is 20 years old and the price is a little high for a bike that old. The CAAD 10 is nicer and to me, the CAAD series have been setting the standard for aluminum bikes.Plus as others have said it is newer.

The stuff about colour is just plain juvenile but sometimes that is what you get here. Disregard those comments and read the comments that actually add value. Then there is the question about intended use of the bike and on some levels this could be a good question but sometimes overkill. You picked four bikes that are similar and sometimes a bike is just a bike. Something to pedal along with, not trying to win the Tour de France or tour the Rockies but just to ride. Any of those bikes will just do that. Good luck on whichever bike you purchase and happy riding. .

2 years ago I went from looking at a lot of mid to upper range bikes before dropping the deposit and waiting a year to get a custom bike in part driven by the desire to have a certain color. When you're going to spend hours a week or even hours a day looking at your bike do you really want something you don't like the look of?
I'd be tossed between the Lemond and the CAAD, personally I'm impressed those old Giants have managed to stay together as well as they have but I wouldn't want to keep testing what they're longevity really is. Although there are plenty who like the Allez I've never felt their appeal and at the end of the day its a 20 year old specialized which is a pretty meh item to me. The Lemond is cooler imho but the c-dale is newer and probably the better bike.

Back in August 2020, I was looking to get a new bike. I originally wanted the Emonda SL7, but I hated the the Radioactive Red that comes on the Di2 version of the SL7, so I decided I would go with the AXS version. The back order date was beyond even my patience level, and I really did not want to pay an additional 600 for the AXS ultimately. So I started looking at the Domane, the SL version has a sweet looking blue, but again, back order dates kept moving further and further into 2021, so I went SLR7 P1 on the Domane and got a color that I liked. So, yes, color did play a factor for my purchase.

In your case the CAAD is probably the way to go, but enjoy the kidding on the color....but yea, it depends on the color for that CAAD.

When nothing else separates one bike from the other significantly in terms of ride comfort, components or other stuff, then yes I'd pick the color and aesthetics that appealed to me.

To a certain extent one bike will do you just as good as another bike. But out of the ones you showed, I'd consider:

• which has the most gears on the rear
• which has the high and low gears I need for the terrain and hills I wish to ride.
• which bike is an appropriate size for me.
• which bike has everything working so I don't have to spend more to fix it since I already spent more than the bike is worth.

No it isn't. Like was suggested earlier, we haven't been provided anything else about size, fit or condition. Until then, color is the only common denominator we can all understand.

Perhaps you should hold off on making completely arbitrary time limits on frame duration and pretending that it's actually useful advice.

However, with the carbon bikes it may be impossible to tell if there is any frame damage from a crash (I'm assuming these are used). Although you would likely see evidence of a crash on the other parts.

As someone else said, it depends on which fits you the best. There is no shortcut to that unfortunately. Dimensional measurements help narrow things down, but there is no substituting for trying before you buy.

Bike fit is more important than frame material, brand name, components and weight imho But color is most important
