i like having reflective areas, but not the reflectors. (not sure on the laws)

I tend to put reflective tape on pedals/cranks for moving attention. also put bits on so theat there is 360 covverage.

Doesnt have to be big to add a lot of visiblity

also always ride with front and rear lights (flashing in day time) but I am mostly on the road so really want visibility

Rode it a few times. It's awesome. Those low gears? Wow. I didn't realize they woukd be THAT low. It has 9 gears, but I usually only use 4 of them. But I like it when I need it!

The suspension is pretty insane. I try to pop a little wheelie off a rock and I can't even do it. The fork just eats the rock. It almost takes the fun out of it!

And the brakes are wicked too. They are so responsive. I didn't know that was possible. Very happy with that.

My butt is a little sore. That's not the bike's fault. I need to toughen up. Maybe I need some padded shorts.

OveralI, think it's a good buy.

The one thing I miss is the twist shifter. I have some tendinitis in my thumb, so it was nice to shift by turning my whole hand. But I can work with it.

Annnnnnd.... Here I am at REI getting the rotors replaced already. They said Cannondale slapped some random rotors on due to COVID supply chain issues and the vibration is making the screws fall out. Free repair, but just a sadly ironic PITA. If I wanted a bike with brakes that fall off, I could have bought the Schwinn. Heh. Just kidding.
