Varia saddle mount

Bublab varia mount for Specialized SWAT seat. They support other saddle brands also.

Installed, very easy.

I purchased the Garmin Varia RTL515 with intentions of hanging it some how off my saddle bag. The old bag in the pic wasn't the one I was thinking of. This will eventually go on is on a road bike. But, since I really have enjoyed the Specialized expert power when the new bike shows up in December I'll be ready.
First, Buplab did an excellent job shipping it out, and communication is very cordial and professional. The kit is super well done, includes everything needed to support multiple saddle bag configurations. My particular setup didn't need the 2 extra extensions but I have the if needed. Came with locktite, tether, and Allen key and plenty of instructions. My particular purchase is for the SWAT sys they support other saddle brands also. Now, The Varia light/radar is really very cool love the integration with my Edge 830. Hope it lasts. Buplabs.com

Hey this is pretty cool. Thanks for sharing. I just might have to pick one of these up as the rubber mounts don't quit fit for my frame style.

Cool! I like how it sits higher up and further back. I use a 3D printed one which is only one piece, including the garmin interface.

Do you think the rubber band is important? I've zip tied my mount to my saddle bag and didn't use a rubber band. Thanks for sharing this!

Extra security, easy to put on and take off. They even supply a landyard that has a small lug that attaches to the light via two face tape, so you can tether it to the saddle.

Yup -- no reason not to use this.

I have a Shimano Pro saddle that has a place to mount things (GoPro, Race Number Holder) under the back and found a great 3D printed mount on Shapeways. They have mounts for so many different things it’s remarkable.

Live the Varia and love having it higher up on the bike well secured.

I looked up the link you shared and checked out the BUPLABS mount, I thought man that's a bit pricey, but I pulled the trigger and I'm impressed with the look, feel and position of the Varia now. works like a champ and seems very well made. my only mounting issue is with the supplied little rubber bits for the set rail. I trimmed them and used a single wrap of electrical tape to keep it in place and then installed the mount. thanks OP great piece of kit.
