Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I put sealant in my gravel tires this AM. It seemed a shame to have to let the air out. So seldom do I get a pair of TL tires to hold perfectly without sealant. Anyway, the sealant is in there.

Day 28 of shelter in place. My work is done for the day.

45 mph gusts, skip today's ride or air the trike tires up. Hmm...

One of my sailing friends always said he knew two knots; a half hitch and lots of half hitches.

wut?

Mrs BD stopped bye the market today for a few staples, I forgot to tell her to keep a look out for leftover dark chocolate sales.

Probably for the best.

Oh, God no! That's like eating candy corn, 98% sugar. Just the chocolate will do for me, please.

Putting that on hold. With everything that is happening it will be a while before I get to the airbus. I’m thinking atleast two years, and it would not fit in the cockpit of my current plane. I could check it, but my luggage is designed for the airline industry and it can barely handle the abuse, I really don’t want to put a carbon road bike through that.

Could have a meetup ride at TYS but I only have one bike. Sad.

Maybe I haven't been looking very hard, but I haven't seen those in a long time. Used to like one on occasion, but wonder if I'd find them too sweet now.

I havnt had any TYS overnights, nor are there any on the schedule. I fly in there almost once a week but never get the chance to stay. Bike or no bike i’ll still reach out if I’m ever there for an extended period.

I bought four at Walgreens last week when I was looking (unsuccessfully) for rubbing alcohol, so they're definitely right there. They are sweet and awesome.
