local rides

Even though I have been a member for a long time I haven't really followed this forum so if my posting is out of place it is out of ignorance. I live on the Olympic Peninsula in the state of Washington. We have a wonderful cycling trail called the Olympic Discovery Trail. When it's finished it will be 135 miles long. We have 45 miles to go. Anyway, I did a YouTube of a newly completed section last December that you might find interesting.

I rode that between Port Angeles and Sequim one day with @Lascauxcaveman and @Wildwood. Great fun and so very beautiful. Hope I can do it again sometime.

Love the Olympic Peninsula. @sequimboy - you should post more.
My favorite ride is out to Neah Bay, when the logging trucks are at a minimum.

I rode that Lake Crescent segment a week and a half ago. I don't have a light. So, I had to walk through the east tunnel. Great trail!

Where I live, I'm a mile from one section. I'll ride to the Elwha river bridge, then turn around. I'm not going to ride on those narrow roads.
