Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That I definitely didn’t know. But thinking about it I live in a narrow apartment, about 9” wide, and my work desk is adjacent to the bike, so the gears in probably saves me 1.5 inches of space which is helpful to this apt but next one I’ll keep that in mind.

Thanks for the tip. I just got the the second holder, it’s a whiskey brand which I got last week after doing a 40 mile ride on hilly terrain (the palisades in NJ) in the 88 degree humid weather. I had to stop at a store on the way home for a Gatorade because I wasn’t hydrated enough with one bottle. I learn little lessons about riding all the time.

The other holder was free because it came with the bike. The bike was pre-owned certified as car dealers say.

The bike is a 49 size (which is guess is on the smaller size , I’m 5’6) and someone bought for their wife and she never used it. It just sat in their garage so he put on eBay. Was a pretty good deal. Basically new and I think $900 with tax and shipping when others were selling for $1,500. Like I mentioned, I just upgraded the saddle and it’s a night and day better experience.

Utilizing space is definitely a must. Maybe flip it around just for the bike porn photos.
