Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I brought 3 phones with my routes downloaded on all 3 on my WA tour last year. Could've gotten by with just 2, but just one would have been slightly inconvenient on a few occasions.

I know 2 guys with Lauf forks on gravel bikes and they are very happy with them. Might not be necessary on a fat bike, though.

That would be cool. I wasn't sure if the back yard was big enough, but yep, 79' wide at the back fence and it widens a bit as it approaches the back of the house. That hotel pool is 59', approx 18 metres.

HAHAHA! I was referencing Alcoholics Anonymous while completely forgetting about American Airlines! I thought you were trying to reference AAA but dropped an A!

American Airlines certainly makes much more sense. I can’t tell you the last time I flew AA but it has to be at least 15, if not 20 years, so they’re never front of mind!

DFW is AA's main hub so virtually all our travel is on AA.

It was a dry weekend. 😔

A Carbonara fork? Is it made of chicken?

My gym’s pool needs to reopen ASAP. Mechanical failure during the deep freeze so it was offline completely until a couple hours ago. Now they’re trying to get up to a reasonable temp so it’s still closed.

Between this fork comment and the AA joke earlier, I’m trending to Velo Vol’s joke level….

Depends on where it is and what type of hernia.

If you mean the "usual" inguinal hernia, it's a bulge/lump in your groin that is kinda squishy and gets larger with straining/coughing and seems to go away if you lie down on your back.

This is up beneath my liver. Comes and goes, but lying in my hammock does bring it on, now that you mention it, though I see you mentioned the opposite. So prolly not a 'normal 'hernia

Point being, of course, that almost no one dresses like crazy musicians. That tweet was stupid, and was hoping to get the idiotic responses it got.
