The bike has potential I think. Size will hold it back a bit. Tall guys are cheap.
To get best value I think the chrome should be polished up.
If it is without pitting then that will help a lot, paramount fans in general desire sparkly chrome.
Ditch the racks too.
I think the floor for these is $900, beyond that it's presentation and dueling desire between bidders.

It will be very nice once it is refurbished. I just put it up in the sale area as a very attractive price (I hope) for those willing to do the work themselves. While I use Ebay, and it could bring more $$ I don't prefer it for bikes.

If I did not have a Paramount or a full stable I'd keep her.

You have a very special bike. That was the top of the line in 1972. Paramounts were some of the very finest bikes available during that time period. It looks like a big boy bike. Like 64cm or something. You could easily ask $1K for it. Beautiful bike. Good luck.

If it was my size, I would have PM'd you already. Whoever buys it will be getting a top of the line classic at a VERY reasonable price. Realize as a seller, you are avoiding all those pesky auction fees too, so it can be a win/win.

There's a '73 for sale in the Orlando, Fl C/L. $1200 OBO. He has a pair, "1973 and 1983 Schwinn Paramounts 1200.00" each or reasonable offer.

Worthy of dropping the fork and setting it in a jig, verifying the displacement of the upper fork legs.
Not a problem to fix I think if pushed back even.

Hopefully it is just a bad camera angle? The drive side looks good in the pictures. I will look at it more closely when I get the bike. If it is off, I will have it fixed.

that pic was shot with a wide angle lens from close up - so you are getting distortions for sure: note how it looks like you are seeing the front of the bike from the back.. and the back of the bike from the front?

easy to see if you look at how the lines of the garage bend behind the bike. still could have a problem- but the pic is not helping.

Thank you. I see the lines on the garage bending now. Good eye.

I think it was the camera angle; the driveside profile looks fine to me.
